San Jose: The San Jose Police Department's Robbery Unit is asking for the public's help identifying and locating Carjacking suspects.  On July 18, 2016 at approximately 6:25 A.M., a stolen vehicle and assault with a deadly weapon (vehicle) occurred at 940 Deer Meadow Court in San Jose.  The victim left her vehicle unattended in the driveway while warming up.  The victim saw the suspect driving away in her vehicle.  The victim got in front of the vehicle and the suspect struck her while fleeing the scene.  The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local area hospital.

Moments before the carjacking, a grey colored Lexus sedan was seen in the area by a surveillance camera (video link attached below).  Footage showed the vehicle park in a stall and female driver exit,  along with a male passenger (wearing a red shirt).  They were seen walking around attempting to open vehicles in the parking lot.  During the carjacking, the Lexus sedan was seen speeding away just behind the victim vehicle. The two individuals in the video are considered accomplices to the carjacking.  The suspect who took the victim's vehicle was only described as a White or Hispanic male adult.
