Homicide Investigation 8-12-16: N/B Hwy 101 & N/B Hwy 280 Connector

San Jose: On Friday, August 12, 2016, at 12:07 AM, San Jose Police Department officers responded to the area of northbound Hwy 101 and northbound Hwy 280 connector on a report of a dead body. Officers arrived and located the victim. The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office responded and upon examining the victim they observed injuries indicating the victim was possibly the victim of a homicide. Follow up by San Jose PD Homicide detectives and an autopsy by the Coroner determined the victim died as the result of blunt force trauma. No suspects have been identified at this time.

This is the City's 30th homicide of 2016.
