Homicide Investigation 8-15-16: 200 block of N. White Road

Suspect: Lozano

San Jose:  On Monday, August 15, 2016, at approximately 6:18 PM, officers responded to Regional Medical Center on a report of two males driven to the hospital suffering from at least one gunshot wound each.  Victim #1 was pronounced deceased at the hospital.  Victim #2's  injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. 

Follow-up investigation revealed the shooting occurred on the 200 block of N. White Road as the victims were traveling in a vehicle.  The motive/circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.  San Jose Police Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

Officers continued to conduct follow up investigation and identified Suspect Lozano as a person involved in the shootings. Suspect Lozano was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for 187 PC Homicide and 245 PC Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
