San Jose: On Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 12:12 AM, San Jose Police officers were dispatched to the area of Bascom Ave. and Leon Dr. on a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived and discovered the victim suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The motive or circumstances surrounding the stabbing are unknown at this time. No suspects have been identified or apprehended.    

This is the City's 35th homicide of 2016.
