The San Jose Police Department’s Robbery Unit has identified and arrested a suspect in connection with a series of six bank robberies that occurred in the cities of San Jose, Cupertino, and Sunnyvale. The robberies occurred between the dates of July 19, 2016 and September 13, 2016.

On September 15, 2016 San Jose Police Covert Response Unit officers located and arrested the 25 year old Spencer Havens at his residence in San Jose without incident.

San Jose: The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public's assistance identifying and locating a male suspect responsible for two bank robberies.

The above-photographed suspect has committed two bank robberies in the City of San Jose. The first robbery occurred on August 19, 2016 at approximately 3:15 P.M. at the Chase Bank, located at 405 Blossom Hill Rd. The second robbery occurred on August 25, 2016 at approximately 1:48 P.M. at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 7270 Bollinger Rd. On both robberies, the suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note, stating that he had a gun. The suspect fled with cash on both robberies and is still outstanding. No injuries were reported.
