SJPD has arrested Youth Counselor for Lewd Acts with a Child

SUSPECT: Taylor Smith AGE: 25 Years
ADDRESS: San Jose Resident

Suspect: Smith
San Jose: The San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) / Child Exploit Detail (CED) task force arrested 25 year old San Jose resident Taylor Smith for Penal Code 288.2(A)(2) - Lewd Acts with a Minor (Felony).
The suspect, who is a Youth Counselor at the YMCA after school program at Ida Price Middle School, is alleged to have committed a lewd act against a female minor who attended the after school program.  The suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

The alleged incident was said to have occurred in September of 2016.

San Jose Police Department's ICAC / CED Task Force conducted follow-up investigation and determined the above listed offense was alleged to have been committed by suspect Smith.  On October 12, 2016, the suspect was located and arrested in San Jose without incident.
