PUERTO RICO RISING  LEVANTA PUERTO RICO
DONATION DRIVE

San Jose, CA  Community Leaders, including San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia and San Jose Fire Chief Curtis Jacobson are coming together to support a 2-day event to gather much needed donations for the people of Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria. Thousands of people in Puerto Rico are still without running water and electricity. As federal agencies withdraw from the Island, the San Jose community comes together to stand with the people of Puerto Rico. 

Puerto Rico Rising is comprised of Community Leaders and Volunteers including San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia and San Jose Fire Chief Curtis Jacobson who are committed to supporting the people of Puerto Rico. 

The Puerto Rican Civic Club, Inc. will collect donations. They are a non-profit 501c(3) organization (Tax Id # 55-0905066). The provisions will be delivered to the Puerto Rico Community Foundation in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which is also a 501c(3) organization.  
 

Several fire and police stations will be open to accept donations. Please urge the community to come out and support this effort!
