*UPDATE* Suspect arrested for 1-1-16 Homicide on Neptune Ct.

**UPDATE: 1-7-16** 

On Thursday, January 7, 2016, in the early evening hours, suspect Maxim Zhukov was arrested in Palo Alto without incident. He will be booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for murder.

San Jose: On Friday, January 1, 2016, at 8:53 p.m., Victim Evgeniy Zhukov was reported missing to San Jose PD by a family member. 

On January 4, 2016, additional information was provided that the victim's son, Suspect Maxim Zhukov, was possibly involved in Victim Evgeniy Zhukov's disappearance. Based on information provided, the Richmond Police Department located the victim's vehicle and victim deceased inside the vehicle. Richmond PD initiated a homicide investigation which determined that the crime scene was possibly at the victim's residence, located in the 6600 block of Neptune Ct. in San Jose.

Richmond PD Homicide detectives along with San Jose PD Homicide and Crime Scene detectives searched the victim's residence pursuant to a search warrant. 

On January 5, 2016, San Jose PD took over the case based on follow-up investigation and evidence recovered at the victim's residenceThere is an active murder warrant for suspect Maxim Zhukov and his whereabouts are unknown at this time.
