San Jose:  On Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 9:39 p.m., officers were dispatched to a person shot call in the area of Pinto Drive and Lone Bluff Way in San Jose. The adult male victim, later identified as 25 year old Stephen McCloskey, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect, later identified as 25 year old Michael Malone, fled the scene and was apprehended in San Jose shortly after the homicide.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the homicide are still under investigation.
