SJPD has arrested Coach for Lewd Acts with a Child

SUSPECT: Marc Alquiza AGE: 34 Years
ADDRESS: San Jose Resident

Suspect: Alquiza
San Jose: The San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) / Child Exploit Detail (CED) task force arrested 34 year old San Jose resident Marc Alquiza for two counts of Penal Code 288(c)(1) - Lewd Acts with a Minor (Felony).
The suspect, who is the Wrestling Coach at Independence High School and the summer Wresting Club that practices at the High School, is alleged to have committed a lewd act against a female minor on the summer Wrestling Club.  The suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

The alleged incident was said to have occurred in May of 2016 when the minor was 14 years old.

San Jose Police Department's ICAC / CED Task Force conducted follow-up investigation and determined the above listed offense was alleged to have been committed by suspect Alquiza.  On June 8, 2016, the suspect was located and arrested in San Jose without incident.
