SJPD Is Looking For More Victims of Sexual Assault

San Jose, CA On Saturday, July 15, 2017, an adult female victim contacted the San Jose Police Department to report a sexual assault. San Jose Police Department Sexual Assaults Investigation Detectives conducted extensive follow-up which revealed that suspect Ezequiel Dureo-Carvajal represented himself as a doctor and conducted unlicensed medical examinations on the victim. Dureo-Carvajal sold the victim dietary supplements to treat the deficiencies and infections he allegedly detected. Dureo-Carvajal also inappropriately touched the victim during an examination.

Dureo-Carvajal is the owner of Iridologia Farmacia, which he described as a holistic pharmacy. This business is located at W.  Alma Ave. in San Jose .      

On Friday, July 28, 2017, Dureo-Carvajal was arrested at his place of business and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on one felony count of Sexual Battery — Penal Code 243.4(c), one misdemeanor count of Invasion of Privacy — Penal Code 647(j), and one misdemeanor count of Unauthorized Practice of Medicine — Business and Professions Code 2052.
