Homicide Investigation 10-06-17: 2500 Block of Story Road

San Jose, CA — On Friday, October 6, 2017, at approximately 8:40 AM, San Jose police officers responded to a disturbance call in the 2500 block of Story Road. Officers arrived and discovered an adult female and adult male suffering from at least one stab wound each. The female victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male was transported to a local hospital.

Follow up investigation determined the male was in fact the suspect. The victim and the suspect had a prior dating relationship. The suspect is currently in stable condition at a local hospital. He has been booked for murder and is in the custody of the Santa Clara County Department of Corrections. 

The motive or circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation. The identity of the victim will not be released until the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office has confirmed the victim's identity and notified next of kin.
