SJPD Arrests Suspect in Homicide that occurred on Santa Clara St. from 12-2-2017

San Jose: On Saturday, December 2, 2017, at approximately 3:36 AM, San Jose police officers responded to a person shot in the 1200 block of Santa Clara Street in San Jose.  Arriving officers located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased short time later.

Follow up investigation by Homicide detectives identified suspect Lejon Terrel Rhodes as the person responsible for the murder of victim Jamal Wright.  On Wednesday, December 20, 2017, the suspect was arrested in San Francisco by the San Jose Police Department's Covert Response Unit.  Suspect Rhodes was booked into Santa Clara County jail for Murder.
