DETAILS: The San Jose Police Department welcomes women who are seeking answers to the possibility of becoming part of our law enforcement family.  The San Jose Police Women's Career Day will help potential candidates explore the many career opportunities with SJPD.     

The Women in Law Enforcement Career Day is designed to educate women to what it's like to be a female behind the badge.  Attendees will engage in a question and answer session with current female officers of various ranks to better understand the day to day duties of a female officer working at the San Jose Police Department.  Women attending the career day will learn law enforcement tactics, engage in practical and role play exercises and have an opportunity to practice the physical agility exam.  

The San Jose Police Department is hiring:

  • Police Officers
  • 911 Dispatchers and Call Takers
  • Records/Police Data Specialists
